Chris Owen – Climber
Chris is a medical researcher based at St. George's, University of London and a part-time optometrist in private practice.
Chris has climbed mountains in East Africa and the Alps (including the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc and Mont Rosa). He has also completed trekking routes in Nepal and South America. He completed the Zermatt's Giants course run by Jagged Globe in 2005 - the picture shows Chris on the north ridge of the Rimfisfischorn near Zermatt. Although he would like to climb an 8000 metre mountain before tackling Everest, he is up for the challenge, and looks forward to meeting the team in Kathmandu.
