Nic Clarke – Cyclist and Climber
Nic (31) has been a keen mountain walker since the age of 3 when his parents took him to the Lake District - this becoming an annual trip. While completing The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme and Chief Scout's Award, he was able to get an insight into the beauty of the mountains which led on to taking part in mountaineering expeditions. He has climbed in the Alps, been to Aconcagua and taken part in a successful expedition to Mt Pumori in the Himalayas.
He has always been very active: completing the past 7 London Marathons, taking part in duathlons and triathlons both at home and abroad, and taking part in adventure races. He has also tried out and loved many adrenalin sports including sky diving, bunjee jumping and white water rafting Having worked in health clubs for the past 7 years he has developed a very good understanding of fitness and has enjoyed helping train others to attain their goals.
