Sebastian Bullock – Climber
Seb was 40 in June 2005 and so this expedition can genuinely be justified on the grounds of a mid-life crisis, if nothing else! That aside, Seb has spent a good proportion of his life in the mountains: working as a ski guide, leading expeditions and climbing. This has all been at the same time as holding down a day job, for eight years in London in the City and for the past seven years as a teacher at Cheltenham College.
The Everestmax expedition is a once in a lifetime opportunity for him, much to the relief of his wife Katherine and 3 children, and should hopefully stave off any feeling of middle age!
